2026 Fantasy Outlook
Now 28 years old, Stott is what he is at this point: a reliable second baseman whose good glove makes him an above-average option for an MLB team, but not one who moves the needle much for a fantasy roster. His .257/.328/.391 slash line last season barely beat his career .256/.318/.383 mark, while his 13 homers and 24 steals were almost an exact match for his career averages of 12.3 and 24.8, respectively. There's upside available if he can cross the 30-steal threshold like he did in 2023 and 2024, but there's probably not much growth coming from his bat. He makes plenty of contact, posting a 16.3 K% in both of the last two seasons, but he doesn't hit the ball hard at all. His 29.5% hard-hit rate last year was ninth-lowest among qualified hitters, capping his power potential and turning much of that contact into easy outs. Toss in the fact that he frequently sat against lefties, against whom he has a career .666 OPS, and he's not exactly a compiler, either. Read Past Outlooks
