After making just seven starts in 2024 while rehabbing from Tommy John surgery and dealing with a hamstring injury, Ray put in a full workload in 2025 with 182.1 innings. The left-hander posted a 3.65 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 186:73 K:BB in 32 starts, with a 1.1 HR/9 being his best mark since 2015. Despite the two lost campaigns in 2023 and 2024, Ray otherwise has stayed fairly healthy and has made at least 32 starts in his other last four full seasons. Walks continue to be a weak point with a 3.6 BB/9, but that's simply who he is at this point and was at least accompanied by a strong 9.2 K/9. Ray has a 3.49 ERA and 1.16 WHIP since 2021 and has 200-strikeout upside, so he's a quality fantasy target despite being largely viewed as an inconsistent option year-to-year. Read Past Outlooks
