Marte missed nearly two months last season due to a bruised knee and was modestly productive when available with seven home runs, 16 stolen bases and a .715 OPS in 94 games. The injuries are piling up as he enters his age-36 campaign, and the outfielder hasn't played in more than 120 contests in a full-length season since 2019. Marte continues to be a threat on the basepaths, but his power has dwindled with a .098 ISO across the past two years being nearly 50 points below his career average. He's entering the final season of his four-year, $78 million contract, and his playing time with the Mets could evaporate if he struggles early in 2025. Marte still had a .267 average in 2024 and offers some upside on the bases for fantasy managers in deeper leagues, but health and availability are major question marks as he moves closer to his late-30s.
