Colas spent the first half shuttling between Triple-A Charlotte and the South Side. He managed nine hits in 33 MLB at bats, but they were all singles. Colas spent the second half with the Knights, where he finished with a .736 OPS. His strikeout rate is high, though Colas' quality of contact is at an acceptable level. However, he's left-handed and a slow afoot ground ball hitter, thus easy to defend. With a logjam in the White Sox outfield, Colas will get spring training reps at first base for the second straight season. Even so, unless he exhibits the ability to loft the ball, Colas is earmarked for a return to the minors. Read Past Outlooks
