2025 Fantasy Outlook
Pages wasn't certain to see much work in the majors entering 2024, but he ended up playing in 116 games due both to the struggles of James Outman and Mookie Betts' move to the infield. Pages predictably encountered spurts of both success and struggle, and he finished the campaign with a .248/.305/.407 slash line along with 13 homers, 46 RBI and one stolen base over 442 plate appearances. Pages twice hit over 25 homers in a season in the minors and seems likely to tap into more power in the majors given his 73rd percentile barrel rate and 97th percentile launch-angle sweet-spot rate last season, but he's not much of a base-stealer and probably won't be a factor in that regard at any point in his career. The 24-year-old showed enough as a rookie -- both on offense and defense -- to open 2025 with a big-league role. However, he could be limited to a small-side platoon role with Michael Conforto, Tommy Edman and Teoscar Hernandez expected to start in the outfield. Read Past Outlooks

Powers offense in win
Pages went 2-for-3 with a pair of home runs and four RBI in Monday's 7-0 win over the Reds.
Analysis
Pages was productive in every trip to the plate. His first two plate appearances were home runs, a solo shot in the third inning and a two-run blast in the fifth. He reached on an error in the sixth that allowed two more runs to score, and he added a fourth RBI with his sacrifice fly in the eighth. He's had some struggles in August, batting .235 (19-for-81) with four homers and 11 RBI over 23 games this month, but he hasn't lost playing time. Pages is at a .273/.318/.466 slash line with 23 homers, 75 RBI, 60 runs scored, 21 doubles and 13 stolen bases over 128 contests this season.

Stat Review
How does Andy Pages compare to other hitters?
This section compares his stats with all batting seasons from the previous three seasons (minimum 400 plate appearances)*. The bar represents the player's percentile rank. For example, if the bar is halfway across, then the player falls into the 50th percentile for that stat and it would be considered average.
* Exit Velocity and Barrels/PA % are benchmarked against 2019 data (min 400 PA) and Hard Hit Rate is benchmarked against last season's data (min 400 PA). See here for more exit velocity/barrels stats plus an explanation of current limitations with that data set.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
2020
Pages got his first promotion to Triple-A last season, but he tore the labrum in his left shoulder in his first contest and didn't play the remainder of the campaign. Prior to the injury, he posted a strong .284/.430/.486 slash line over 142 plate appearances in Double-A, though his three homers marked a big power dip in comparison to his previous minor-league campaigns. Despite that, his .205 ISO remained very promising, and he cut down on his punchouts with a 22.5 percent strikeout rate to go with a big 18.7 percent walk rate. Pages isn't likely to hit for a high average in the majors, and he's not a difference-maker as a base stealer, so his future as a fantasy asset will depend on his ability to harness his 70-grade power. Based on the Dodgers' current roster construction, there's a path for Pages to see some major-league work in the corner outfield as soon as next season, though 2025 seems like a more reasonable target for him to to potentially move into a significant role.

Catches fire to earn POTW honors
Pages and Eugenio Suarez were named co-Players of the Week for the National League on Monday.
Analysis
Pages had just 10 hits in his first 20 games of the season, but he quickly turned things around last week and went 13-for-20 with three doubles, three homers, six RBI, five runs and a stolen base in five contests. The offensive surge quickly improved his OPS from .544 to .851 in a matter of days and should help him maintain a regular spot in the lineup despite the slow start to the campaign.
