Eric Bitonti

19-Year-Old Third Baseman3B
Milwaukee Brewers A
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bitonti is a boom or bust prospect, but his strengths are obvious, as he often stands above his peers at 6-foot-4 and showcases mammoth power with regularity. A lefty-hitting third baseman who was very young for his high school draft class in 2023 and turned 19 this offseason, Bitonti didn't make his full-season debut until late in 2024 when he was promoted to Single-A after the Arizona Complex League season wrapped up. All told, the young slugger slashed .282/.402/.544 with 16 home runs, 12 steals, a 16.5 percent walk rate and a 27.9 percent strikeout rate in 79 games. His strikeout rate was high at both levels, peaking at 29.5 percent at Single-A. Bitonti will always log high strikeout rates due to his intent to do damage, but he doesn't chase at an alarming rate and has thus far walked enough to offset the Ks. For those who eschew risk in the name of chasing upside, Bitonti is a good target, as few corner infielders in the lower levels can match his power potential. Read Past Outlooks

Bumped up to Single-A

Bitonti was promoted from the Arizona Complex League to Single-A Carolina on Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Bitonti could eventually develop into a Coby Mayo or Austin Riley type of slugging third baseman, but he won't turn 19 until November, so there's a long road ahead. The 6-foot-4 lefty hitter slashed .320/.451/.480 with eight home runs and a 27 percent strikeout rate in the ACL, and he struck out twice while going hitless in his first game for the Mudcats.
