Slumping Heat Host Mavericks
The Miami Heat play host to the Dallas Mavericks at Miami-Dade Arena on Saturday evening.

The Heat (40-37) have dropped three in a row but look to bounce back as they return home with a chance to add to their, 25-14, home record. Jimmy Butler leads the team, averaging 22.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game. Tyler Herro is averaging 20.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists, while Max Strus is averaging 11.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. The Heat average a league-low 108.7 points per game, but they hold opponents to an average of 109.8 points, which is second fewest in the league. Bam Adebayo (hip) and Kyle Lowry (rest) are listed as questionable for action.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks (37-40) have dropped five of their last six games. They hope to get back on track as they face the fourth game of a five-game road trip with a chance to build on their, 15-24, road record. Luka Doncic leads the team, averaging 32.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Kyrie Irving continues to play well, averaging 18.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.3 blocks over four games. Christian Wood averages 16.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 blocks per game. The Mavs average 113.8 per game, but they give up an average of 113.3 points per game.
