Kings, Nets Collide In Battle Of Contenders
The Brooklyn Nets will host the Sacramento Kings at Barclays Center on Thursday.

The Nets (39-30) are coming off a 121-107 road loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday. Mikal Bridges led the Nets with 34 points, four rebounds, two assists and four blocks, in 38 minutes. Cameron Johnson followed up with 23 points, nine rebounds, three assists and a steal, while Spencer Dinwiddie added 16 points, six rebounds, 11 assists and two steals. The Nets shot 42.7 percent from the field, including 12-of-41 from deep. The Nets have gone 3-2 in their last five contests and own a 19-12 mark at home.

Ben Simmons (knee) has been ruled out of Thursday’s game.

The Kings (41-27) are coming off a 117-114 road win over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday. De’Aaron Fox led the Kings 32 points, adding three rebounds, one assist and two steals. Malik Monk furnished 19 points, four boards, three assists, one steal and one block. Harrison Barnes supplied 17 points, three rebounds and one assist. Kevin Huerter registered 15 points, five assists and three rebounds. Domantas Sabonis generated a 14-point, 17-rebound, 10-assist triple-double with one steal and one block. The Kings have gone 20-13 on the road and enter this game having won three of their last four contests.

Richaun Holmes (illness) has been tabbed as a game-time call for Thursday.
