Knicks, Pistons Looking To Bounce Back Tuesday
The Detroit Pistons will host the New York Knicks at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday night.

The Pistons (5-17) remain one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference and are coming off a 102-94 home loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday. Marvin Bagley led the Pistons with 19 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and a block, in 28 minutes. Alec Burks followed up with 17 points and two rebounds. Killian Hayes added 16 points, three rebounds, eight assists, two steals and a block, while Saddiq Bey chipped in 15 points, five rebounds, two steals and one block. The Pistons shot 46 percent from the field, including 8-of-28 from deep in that loss. The Pistons have now lost two games in a row and are riding a three-game losing streak at home.

Bojan Bogdanovic (knee), Isaiah Stewart (toe) and Jaden Ivey (knee) are game-time calls for Tuesday’s game, while Cade Cunningham (lower leg) has been ruled out.

The Knicks (9-11) came up short down the stretch and suffered a 127-123 home loss against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. Jalen Brunson paced the Knicks with 30 points, nine assists, five rebounds and one steal. RJ Barrett turned in 22 points, seven boards and four assists. Mitchell Robinson compiled 16 points, seven rebounds and five blocks. Julius Randle generated a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double that included nine assists. Cam Reddish netted 11 points. The Knicks have now lost two in a row and four of their last five.

Immanuel Quickley (knee) has been listed as a game-time decision for Tuesday’s contest.

Warriors and Mavericks Set for Lone Star State Clash
The Golden State Warriors take on the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center on Tuesday night.

The Warriors (11-10) have been trending in the right direction of late after going 3-7 over their first 10 games, and they'll check into Tuesday's contest with three consecutive victories. Their most recent success came Sunday night, when they toppled the Minnesota Timberwolves by a 137-114 score. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 25 points, adding 11 rebounds, eight assists and one steal. Jordan Poole provided 24 points, six assists and four rebounds. Klay Thompson supplied 21 points, two rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block. Draymond Green generated a 19-point, 11-assist double-double that included four rebounds and two blocks. Andrew Wiggins and Donte DiVincenzo posted 17 and 14 points, respectively.

The Warriors will remain without Andre Iguodala (hip) for Tuesday's game.

The Mavericks (9-10) have found the win column elusive of late, having dropped four straight games going into Tuesday's showdown. Dallas' most recent stumble came Sunday night in a 124-115 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 27 points, adding 12 assists and five rebounds. Spencer Dinwiddie furnished 22 points, three boards and two assists. Christian Wood totaled 21 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal. Dorian Finney-Smith posted 13 points, four boards, three assists and three steals.

The Mavericks will come into Tuesday's game without any injuries to report.

Tuesday's game marks the first of three meetings between the teams this season. The Mavericks won the 2021-22 regular-season series from the Warriors by a 3-1 margin before Golden State prevailed by a 4-1 margin in the Western Conference Finals.

Trail Blazers Look To Bounce Back At Home
The Portland Trail Blazers play host to the Los Angeles Clippers at Moda Center on Tuesday evening.

The Trail Blazers (11-9) look to bounce back from a loss in their last game as the return home after a four-game road trip. They went 1-3 on the road trip but now have a chance to add to their 4-4 home record. Unfortunately, they continue to deal with injury trouble as Keon Johnson (hip) and Damian Lillard (calf) are listed as questionable for action, while Gary Payton (abdomen) remains out. Anfernee Simons continues to play great, averaging 25.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.4 steals over the last five games. Josh Hart averages 9.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.4 steals, while Jerami Grant averages 21.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

On the other side, the Clippers (12-9) look to build off a win in their last game as they are set for the first game of a two-game road trip hoping to build on their 5-4 road. Ivica Zubac turned in a monstrous performance in the last game as he logged 31 points, 29 rebounds, three assists and three blocks, in 36 minutes of action. Meanwhile, he averages 10.5 points, 11.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.9 rebounds on the season. Reggie Jackson averages 11.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists, while Marcus Morris averages 14.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. Kawhi Leonard (ankle) has missed the last three games but is listed as questionable for action. Paul George (hamstring) has missed the last four games and will remain out through Tuesday's action. Luke Kennard (calf) will also remain out.
