Nets Rally Past Hawks
The Brooklyn Nets defeated the visiting Atlanta Hawks, 124-107, at Barclays Center on Friday evening.

The Hawks got out to a strong start and led, 33-25, after one quarter, but the hosts bounced back in the second and rallied to a four-point edge by halftime. The Nets carried the momentum into the third and outscored the Hawks, 42-24, in the quarter to make it a 22-point deficit heading into the final frame. The visitors kept up the fight in the fourth but it was not enough, as the Nets closed out their second straight win.

Mikal Bridges led the Nets with 42 points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal, in 36 minutes. Dorian Finney-Smith followed up with 19 points, eight rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block, while Nicolas Claxton totaled 14 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a steal. The Nets shot 55.7 percent from the field, including 15-of-33 from long range.

Meanwhile, Dejounte Murray led the Hawks with 21 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals, in 36 minutes. Saddiq Bey followed up with 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Onyeka Okongwu and Bogdan Bogdanovic added 12 points each. The Hawks shot 42.9 percent from the field, including 8-of-37 from deep.

The Hawks (38-39) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Mavericks on Sunday. The Nets (42-35) play host to the Jazz on Sunday.
