Suns Defeat Jazz, 113-112
The Phoenix Suns defeated the visiting Utah Jazz, 113-112, at Footprint Center on Saturday.

There were 16 ties and 11 lead changes in this game, with neither team leading by more than 10 points. That was Utah early in the first half, but Phoenix responded with a 29-22 second quarter and a 35-31 fourth quarter to complete their comeback win. They actually held the lead for the final eight minutes, despite never leading by more than six points in this game. The Suns out-rebounded the Jazz, 54-47, while out-assisting them, 23-20. They also won the turnover battle, 12-6.

The Jazz (12-10) were led by Jordan Clarkson, collecting 22 points, five rebounds and five assists. Collin Sexton compiled 20 points, two rebounds, five assists and two steals. Lauri Markkanen amassed 15 points, 10 rebounds and two assists, while Kelly Olynyk had 10 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals. Malik Beasley led the bench with 14 points, five rebounds and four assists.

The Suns (12-6) were led by Deandre Ayton, accruing 29 points, 21 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Devin Booker missed 19 of his 27 shots but still finished with 27 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. Mikal Bridges generated 16 points, three rebounds and two assists, while Cameron Payne totaled 11 points and six assists.

Both teams return to action on Monday, with Phoenix traveling to face the Sacramento Kings and Utah returning home to play the Chicago Bulls.
