Thomas understandably isn't quite matching the scoring and assist marks he set last year at Norfolk State, but the 5-11 senior has played a valuable role upon his leap to the high-major level, starting every game at point guard for the 6-3 Gamecocks. He's also found his stride from distance of late. After being held without a three-pointer in his first three games, Thomas is converting at a rate of 45.2 percent over his last six, including five treys in Saturday's outing.
