Watts came off the bench for the second-consecutive game to record 12 points despite continuing to struggle from the floor. The junior forward, who also pulled down eight rebounds, started the season strong, shooting 62.5-percent from the floor over his first three games but has not had nearly as much success over the subsequent three-game stretch, connecting on just three of 20 attempts. Despite this recent rough stretch, overall Watts has had a productive start to his time in Lubbock, averaging 10.3 points, 5.8 boards and 2.3 assists across 25.7 minutes while starting three of six contests thus far.
