Scrimmages on Thursday
Randall (knee) scrimmaged on Thursday, Chapel Fowler of The Columbia State reports.
ANALYSIS
Randall suffered a knee injury early in August, but it appears the problem is no more. The running back scrimmaging, and logging a few big runs in the process, indicates that he is healthy. Randall will look to fill a big gap left by the departure of Phil Mafah, though the former's FBS experience primarily consists of him working out wide. Considering the 2025 Tigers currently slate him as their No. 1 back, he at least has a chance.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
New offensive coordinator Garrett Riley and his expected Air Raid passing attack is going to create a breakout opportunity for one or more of Clemson’s wide receivers, and Randall looks as good as any to take a shot on. The Tigers have only one proven receiver in rising sophomore Antonio Williams, and Randall offers quite a different physique, having some 3-4 inches and arguably 40 pounds on Clemson’s leading returning receiver. He missed spring practice, which could keep the hype down in the early portions of draft season, but that absence had nothing to do with his surgically repaired ACL which limited to 10 catches and 128 yards as a freshman. There’s the obvious caveat that while someone emerges here, it may not be Randall. But the skill, frame and opportunity are present, setting him up for a nice lottery ticket late in drafts.
