Woolridge returned for the postseason after missing the final three regular season games with a collarbone injury. The entire team was overmatched by the Horned Frogs, which led to a lopsided defeat and Woolridge having the worst game of his career. Still, Woolridge was a major reason why the Ragin' Cajuns were able to reach 10 wins, after throwing for 2,453 yards, 17 touchdowns and six interceptions while picking up another 182 yards and five scores with his legs.
