Sowell recorded his first touchdown with the Cyclones. It's worth noting that he did briefly leave the game after a hard fall but was able to return. The transfer receiver is heating up with nine catches (on 14 targets) for 204 yards and a touchdown in his last two games. With Iowa State's defense struggling of late, Sowell could continue this pace and be more productive in the second half of the season. Iowa State will play at Colorado next week.
