Julian Sayin

QuarterbackQB
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Sayin was a five-star recruit out of high school and is the clear frontrunner at the QB slot for Ohio State. Many believe that Sayin in a full-time role is a moderate upgrade over Will Howard, who struggled at times despite leading the Buckeyes to a CFP title. At the very least, there will be little to no dropoff at the position, with the 6-3 sophomore at the helm. He excelled as a legitimate dual threat in high school, displaying a quick release and elite accuracy. Although he will make moves with his feet, he could finish the year as one of the most productive passers in the Big Ten with targets like Jeremiah Smith, Carnell Tate and Max Klare at his disposal. Sayin has 30-touchdown potential if he stays healthy. Read Past Outlooks
Slight edge in positional battle
August 13, 2025
Sayin is reportedly slightly ahead in the race for the starting role under center for the 2025 season, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.
ANALYSIS
As the season-opener against Texas approaches, no starter under center has been named for the Buckeyes. Sayin has been in a tight battle with Lincoln Kienholz as the two have continue to impress throughout camp. With the game on Aug. 30 right around the corner, more news should surface in the coming days regarding the status of the position.
