ANALYSIS
Van Buren had easily his best outing of the season as LSU lost a shootout to Houston to close out the 2025 campaign. It was the first time the gunslinger had tossed for multiple touchdowns in a game this season, and he also protected the football after throwing an interception in back-to-back weeks. It'll be interesting to see if Van Buren elects to hang around Baton Rouge and compete for the Tigers' QB1 gig next fall.
