ANALYSIS
Browne came in during the third quarter after senior signal-caller Hudson Card was benched midway through the third quarter. With the Boilermakers already down 35-3, the redshirt sophomore didn't make much of a dent other than a 20-yard touchdown pass to tight end Max Klare in the fourth quarter. Since his massive outing in a start at Illinois in Week 7, Browne hasn't provided much spark when he's taken over for Card in each of the last three games. It will still be worth monitoring if Purdue elects to move him into the starting role ahead of this Friday's game at Michigan State.
