Apathy couldn't step up for his team as his confidence slowly deflated across the series. In a hectic Round 1 Hardpoint, Apathy earned a respectable 26/28 KD, erasing a -7 KD in the early parts of the Hardpoint. Apathy's 6/8 Round 2 Search and Destroy KD masked the fact he would routinely squander 1-vs-1 opportunities, especially in Round 10 after his team had already placed the bomb. That mundane Search performance would prove critical, as despite a 24/17 KD in Round 3 Domination, the rest of Surge couldn't regain from a massive first-half lead on Hackney. It's entirely possible Apathy could be released by the Surge next year or perhaps even join some of his fellow colleagues as an excellent broadcasters should he choose to end his likely Hall of Fame career.
