Jason Peters
43-Year-Old
Free Agent

Hangs up cleats
Seahawks GM John Schneider announced Tuesday that Peters (undisclosed) is retiring from the NFL and joining Seattle's front office, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Peters will be the assistant to Seahawks vice president of player affairs Mo Kelly. The 43-year-old spent much of the 2024 season on the Seahawks' practice squad before landing on the injured list in December. Peters appeared in 248 career games and was a nine-time Pro Bowl selection during his heyday with the Bills and Eagles. He was named a first-team All-Pro twice with Philly and was second-team All-Pro four other times. Peters was also named a member of the 2010s All-Decade team. He'll have a strong case for the Hall of Fame in a few years.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

Could reunite with Seahawks
Peters visited with the Seahawks on Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The Seahawks lost right tackle George Fant to a long-term knee injury after a Week 1 win, and he will be out until late October. Abraham Lucas also began the season on the PUP list with a knee issue and his potential return date is unclear. That leaves the Seahawks with a lack of depth at tackle, a need Peters would help fill. He played eight games with Seattle last season and would become the oldest player in the league if he does agree to a deal.
