Traded to Atlanta
The Raiders traded Edwards and a 2023 seventh-round pick to the Falcons on Friday in exchange for Atlanta's 2023 fifth-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The Falcons continue to add to their pass-catching corps with the addition of another big-bodied wideout. Edwards faced an uphill battle for target volume in Las Vegas with the acquisition of Davante Adams, but the 6-foot-3 wide receiver has a chance to carve out a solid role in Atlanta. The Falcons overhauled the wideout group this offseason in the wake of Calvin Ridley's suspension, led by the selection of Drake London in the first round; however, behind the rookie and phenom tight end Kyle Pitts, the Falcons will likely have a healthy competition for targets leading up to and during the 2022 campaign.

The Buccaneers offense should stay dominant with Tom Brady returning, setting up Leonard Fournette for another big season.

The Davante Adams trade will force the Packers to restructure completely on offense and leaves Josh McDaniels with much to think about in Vegas.

Talk of an Aaron Rodgers trade hasn't entirely died down, but it may be the Chargers rather than the Broncos who are best positioned to take a big step forward.

Zay Jones was a disappointing second-round pick for the Bills, but he showed breakout indications late in 2021 and now heads into free agency.
Past Fantasy Outlooks
2021
2020
The 81st pick in the 2020 draft, Edwards had a low-impact rookie year, missing four games with a foot injury and eclipsing two targets only once all year. At 6-3, 212, he has excellent size, and while he didn't run in the NFL Combine, he's got good speed for a big receiver. He should get another chance this year in a wide-open receiving corps. Last year's 12th overall pick Henry Ruggs has yet to establish himself, last year's top wideout Nelson Agholor is gone and offseason addition John Brown didn't make the 53-man roster, so Edwards only has to compete with Ruggs and slot man Hunter Renfrow for WR targets.

Facing added competition
Edwards appeared likely to enter his third NFL season as the No. 3 option at wide receiver for the Raiders following the team's trade for first-team All-Pro Davante Adams, but the recent addition of Demarcus Robinson could create a job battle for Edwards, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
