2022 Fantasy Outlook
The special-teams burner did almost all of his work for the Rams as a punt and kick returner, and in six games managed to put up a combined 341 return yards and a touchdown. Despite Powell's speed and ability as the return man, he hasn't caught a pass in the NFL since 2020, and with a ton of talent ahead of him at wide receiver, Powell's primary worth will continue to be in special teams barring injuries to a few of the names in front of him. RANKS

Two touches in season finale
Powell secured one of three targets for two yards and rushed once for 15 yards during Sunday's 19-16 overtime loss to the Seahawks. He also returned three punts for 22 yards and one kickoff for 17 yards.
ANALYSIS
Powell's usage fell in line with what became typical for the return specialist in the second half of the season. Despite an uptick in playing time, Powell managed a pedestrian 23-156-0 receiving line in 2022 while tacking on an additional 17 rushing attempts for 80 yards, all career highs. Powell heads into 2023 as an unrestricted free agent after a pair of one-year deals with the Rams, and a similar deal may be in the cards for the journeyman.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
After going undrafted out of Florida in 2018, Powell latched on with the Lions and ultimately saw action in six regular-season games. He only caught five passes for 26 yards in his first five appearances, but exploded for six receptions and 103 yards in the season finale, when neither Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones or Bruce Ellington were healthy enough to play. While Golladay and Jones are back and healthy in 2019, both Ellington and TJ Jones were allowed to walk in free agency and Danny Amendola was the only notable receiver signed to fill in. That leaves the No. 4 receiver job up for the taking, and Powell is one of the favorites to snag the job.
