Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Lloyd delivered his third straight campaign of 100-plus tackles last season, as he finished with 113 stops (61 solo), including two sacks, one interception and one forced fumble in 16 games. Jacksonville turned down his fifth-year option for 2026 during the offseason, so Lloyd is now entering a contract year. He'll once again have some IDP upside in 2025, though Lloyd and Foyesade Oluokun could vulture each other's tackle totals a bit. Read Past Outlooks
Excellent despite dip in production
Lloyd recorded 81 tackles (35 solo), including 1.5 sacks, across 15 regular-season appearances in 2025. He also logged seven passes defensed, including five interceptions, one fumble recovery and one defensive touchdown.
ANALYSIS
Lloyd failed to tally 100 total tackles in 2025 for the first time in his career, but he remained reliable against the run while emerging as a legitimate playmaker elsewhere on defense for Jacksonville, especially in coverage. The 2022 first-round pick will look to continue wreaking havoc in the postseason, beginning with Sunday's wild-card-round matchup against the Bills. Lloyd is currently playing out the final year of his rookie deal, and he's positioned to become a coveted unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Lloyd appeared to struggle with the pace of the pro game in his rookie season, as he suffered both in coverage and with a very high rate of missed tackles. Whatever adjustments he made heading into 2023 paid dividends, as he turned into an elite run defender and improved both in coverage and tackling enough to stay on the field consistently in his sophomore campaign. He should team up with Foye Oluokun to make an elite duo in the middle of the Jaguars' defense in 2024.

Lloyd took his game to a new level in 2025, earning second-team All-Pro honors while showcasing impressive versatility with career-high totals of five interceptions and 10 quarterback hits in 15 regular-season appearances. The Jaguars didn't pick up Lloyd's fifth-year option for 2026 ahead of the 2025 season, which will allow the 27-year-old linebacker to hit the open market as a free agent in the offseason after recording 436 tackles through four NFL regular seasons.
