2022 Fantasy Outlook
Murray's put together a pair of good seasons in Houston, with the team reworking the safety's contract during the offseason, giving him a two-year extension. That came after a roller coaster ride in 2021. Murray opened the year as a starter but was replaced by Lonnie Johnson in Week 4, as defensive coordinator (now head coach) Lovie Smith looked for the right combination in the secondary. Murray reclaimed the job Week 9 and helped solidify the back end, playing with Justin Reid. He finished out the season with 55 tackles, four passes defensed and one interception over his final eight games. Murray had offseason shoulder surgery but is slated to be ready for training camp.
