2024 Fantasy Outlook
Franklin-Myers was traded to Denver this offseason after spending his last four seasons with the Jets. The 2018 fourth-rounder will operate as the Broncos' starting defensive end and should have an immediate impact on the team's pass rush. Franklin-Myers finished his 2023 campaign with 33 total tackles, including 3.5 sacks, across 17 games. The veteran's versatility and durability make him an interesting option in IDP formats. Will suit up Sunday
Franklin-Myers (concussion) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game at Tampa Bay, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite having suffered a concussion less than a week ago, Franklin-Myers is on track to play in Week 3. He'll be hunting for his first sack of the season against a middling Buccaneers offensive line.

After posting 35 tackles and 6.0 sacks in 2021, Franklin-Myers recorded similar numbers in 2022, with 38 tackles and 5.0 sacks. The versatile defensive lineman can line up both inside and outside, but after the Jets used first-round picks on defensive ends in each of the past two drafts, JFM will likely find himself playing primarily on the interior of the defensive line at defensive tackle, which will make it tough to significantly improve his sack or tackle totals.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
May have to take pay cut
Rich Cimini of ESPN suggests Franklin-Myers may be asked to take a pay cut as part of the domino effect of the Jets' trade for Hasson Reddick on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Cimini notes Franklin-Myers carries a $16.4 million cap charge for 2024, and he's coming off a 2023 season in which he recorded 33 tackles, including 3.5 sacks, across 17 games. The versatile veteran is highly durable and can play all over the defensive line, but with Reddick set to make $14.25 million next season absent a restructuring or a new deal, Franklin-Myers' current charge may prove too expensive to leave untouched.
