Finishes regular season strong
KLos Angeles Rams
January 6, 2025
Karty connected on all four field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point try during Sunday's 30-25 loss to the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
It was a strong finish to the regular season for the Rams' rookie kicker, as he hit a season-long 58-yard field goal to close the first half. He opened the second half with another lengthy kick of 57 yards and tacked on a pair of shorter field goals and a PAT to close out a perfect performance. For the season, Karty was 29-for-34 on field goals and 32-for-36 on PAT's, and he'll look to ride the positive momentum of the latter portion of the season into a wild-card round matchup with the Vikings next Monday night.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
The Rams used a supplementary 2024 sixth-round pick on Karty, who converted 85.0 percent of field-goal attempts and 98.6 percent of PATs in three seasons as Stanford's kicker. He went 23 of 27 on three-point tries his final season, including just one miss inside of 50 yards. Karty is set up to compete with 2023 UDFA Tanner Brown for the Rams' kicker job -- a position that could come with plenty of volume given the talent Los Angeles has on offense. The Rams led the league in field-goal attempts (43) and misses (nine) last season, with Brett Maher and Lucas Havrisik both failing to impress while getting ample volume.
