Week 9 - Bye Weeks - CLE, NYJ, PHI, TB.

Welcome to the Weekly Value Meter Rankings. This is a guide to help you decide who to start and sit in a given week. It's is not a season-long ranking nor a draft guide, and it's also not really intended as a free agent guide. While I appreciate that you want my opinion on pickups, every league is different, and your decision on whether to add/drop a particular player might also be dictated by other factors than who is rated higher in a given week.

Here are my operating assumptions for the rankings:

- The RB/WR/TE position rankings are for PPR leagues.
- The Flex rankings are for Standard leagues.
- 1 point per 10 rushing/receiving yards.
- 1 point per 20 passing yards.
- 4 points per passing touchdowns.

These are the fantasy football rankings I use when I make my start/sit decisions. Please consult the rankings first before asking "Should I start Patrick Mahomes or Bryce Young?"

27.	*Andy Dalton CAR at GB Note: Both Dalton and Kirk Cousins looked overwhelmed in situations where the consensus was that they weren't that far off from the starter on their respective teams.
28.	*Tyler Shough NO at LAR Note: Shough will start this week after replacing Spencer Rattler in the second half last week.
29.	*Michael Penix ATL at NE Note: Penix (knee) was described as day-to-day on Monday by coach Raheem Morris following the Falcons' loss to Miami.

32.	*Bryce Young CAR at GB Note: Young (ankle) had an encouraging running session Monday and the team is hopeful he might be able to practice Wednesday. Teammate Andy Dalton was overwhelmed by the Bills' pass rush in Week 8.
33.	*Jayden Daniels WAS vs. SEA Note: Daniels (hamstring) had a good rehab session Tuesday and will participate in Wednesday's practice. The Commanders play another stand-alone game on Sunday night against Seattle.
34.	*Kyler Murray ARZ at DAL Note: Murray (foot) was on the field for Tuesday's bonus practice session, and is 'doing better' than he was during the two weeks where he missed games before the bye. The Cardinals haven't yet announced who is starting between Murray and Jacoby Brissett.
