2023 Fantasy Outlook
Ross signed with the Chiefs last spring as an undrafted free agent, but spent his entire rookie campaign in rehab mode after undergoing surgery to repair a nagging foot injury. Now that the 23-year-old has had time to move past the issue, Ross appears poised to compete for a role in a Kansas City wideout corps that also includes Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Kadarius Toney, Skyy Moore, Richie James and Justin Watson. At 6-4 and 210 pounds, Ross brings good size to the mix, but the Clemson product will need to prove his health in the coming months in order to secure a roster spot ahead of the 2023 season. 2022 Fantasy Outlook
Ross, who once was considered a candidate to be an early-round draft choice, was diagnosed with a congenital fusion in his spine in the spring of 2020 -- which led to him missing a season -- and was then limited last year by a stress fracture in his foot. With Kansas City, the 6-foot-4, 205-pound UDFA will look to secure a spot in a re-tooled wideout corps currently led by JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and 2022 second-rounder Skyy Moore.
