Borom will enter his third season in the league, all of which have been with the Bears. He has starting experience, but will go into the season with the expectation of being a swing tackle behind Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright.
After being selected in the fifth round of the 2021 draft, Boron played 10 games at right tackle and gave the Bears line a boost when Teven Jenkins and Germain Ifedi missed time due to injuries. WIth Ifedi now in Atlanta, Borom is expected to build on his solid rookie season as a starter.
After playing tackle in college at Missouri, the Bears selected Borom in the fifth round of this year's draft, though he'll likely settle in at guard. With Cody Whitehair currently holding down a starting spot, Boron could potentially compete with Alex Bars for a starting spot, but if he doesn't win the spot in camp, he'll likely provide depth on the line.
