Once regarded as a shutdown corner, Lattimore has seen his reputation suffer due to an onslaught of injuries. He missed 25 games over the past three seasons after opening his career with five straight seasons of at least 13 starts, 52 tackles and 11 pass defenses. Lattimore, 29, figures to remain a starter in Washington after being traded there from New Orleans during the 2024 campaign, but it's anyone's guess how long he'll stay healthy. Makes impact via INT in Week 8 loss
Lattimore logged one pass defensed, an interception, during Washington's loss to the Chiefs on Monday.
				ANALYSIS
Lattimore didn't record a single tackle during Monday's loss despite playing 100 percent of defensive snaps. That marks the first time across eight regular-season appearances this year that Lattimore has been held without a stop, though his playmaking ability remained on display when making a first-quarter interception of Patrick Mahomes, on a pass intended for Hollywood Brown. The veteran cornerback remains locked into an every-down role heading into a Week 9 matchup against Seattle.

        Measurables Review

How do Marshon Lattimore's measurables compare to other cornerbacks?

This section compares his draft workout metrics with players at the same position. The bar represents the player's percentile rank. For example, if the bar is halfway across, then the player falls into the 50th percentile for that metric and it would be considered average.

Lattimore has gone from one of the league's top cornerbacks to one who can't stay on the field. The four-time Pro Bowler tallied 68 tackles and 12 passes defended while playing just 17 regular-season games over the past two years. Despite offseason trade rumors, Lattimore is expected to be healthy and back on the roster in 2024. Paulson Adebo and Alontae Taylor are proven, productive young cornerbacks for the Saints, but Lattimore still should be the alpha of this group, as he'll look to return to his elite form of annual double-digit passes defended.

    Might not return to Washington
Lattimore is a candidate to be cut this offseason, Matt Okada of NFL.com suggests.
				ANALYSIS
The Commanders acquired Lattimore in the middle of the 2024 season, but he was hampered by a hamstring injury and played only five total games for the team, including three playoff contests. The 28-year-old remains under contract through the 2026 season, but Lattimore's last Pro Bowl berth came in 2021 and he failed to record an interception in 2024 for the first time in his career, which could make the Commanders re-consider his $18 million cap hit.
