First WR off board per Filice
Gennaro Filice of NFL.com has Golden being selected by the Cardinals with the 16th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Several mock drafts have Tetairoa McMillan being the first wide receiver selected in the draft, but Filice believes that honor could go to Golden, especially after the Texas wideout ran a 4.29 40-yard dash at the combine. Filice argues that Golden would fit in the Cardinals' offense nicely as a true Z-receiver next to Marvin Harrison, Michael Wilson and tight end Trey McBride. Golden finished his final season with the Longhorns with 58 catches for 987 yards and nine touchdowns.
