2025 Fantasy Outlook
Gadsden converted from wide receiver to tight end at Syracuse, demonstrating intriguing pass catching capabilities at both positions. After posting 975 receiving yards and six touchdowns as a wideout in 2022, he was similarly effective with 934 receiving yards and seven TDs as a TE in 2024. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Chargers, so Gadsden is likely to slot in behind Tyler Conklin and Will Dissly on the depth chart, at least initially. The 6-foot-5, 241-pound Gadsden will need to prove he can block at the NFL level to earn consistent playing time, but there’s some long-term upside here given his skill set and situation. Held quiet in Week 14
Gadsden finished with one reception for seven yards on four targets in Monday's 22-19 overtime win over the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
With a 62 percent snap share on the night, Gadsden once again handily paced Chargers tight ends in playing time, but it didn't translate to much production in the box score. Since recording at least five catches and 68 receiving yards in four straight games from Weeks 6 through 9, Gadsden has been limited to a 7-88-0 receiving line on 17 targets over the Chargers' ensuing four contests.

The rookie fifth-round pick out of Syracuse recorded three catches during Saturday evening's practice session, with all those throws coming off the arm of Herbert.
