Not set in stone at left tackle
Coach Matt LaFleur suggested Thursday that Walker isn't set in stone as the Packers' starting left tackle, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Walker started all 17 regular-season games at left tackle last season, but 2024 first-rounder Jordan Morgan seems to be pushing Walker for the job. Walker started training camp on active/NFI list and also missed practice time with a groin issue this summer. Morgan appeared in just six contests as a rookie.

Bakhtiari is no longer on the team, but Green Bay fortified the offensive line in the draft, most notably adding Jordan Morgan with the 25th overall selection. Morgan started 37 games at left tackle for Arizona, and the rookie's pedigree suggests he could push for a starting role right away over Walker, who was a seventh-round pick in 2022.
