The 29-year-old defensive end sustained a PCL injury and missed Cincinnati's final three games of the 2024 season, but he was relatively unproductive while on the field. Hubbard is overshadowed by teammate Trey Hendrickson, but he has emerged as a key player along the Bengals' defensive line with steady and reliable play. He is among the best run defenders in the league among edge players and also provides some pass-rush presence. That makes it pretty easy to set expectations, as Hubbard has between 58 and 62 tackles in each of his last four seasons and has at least six sacks in each of the last three. If there is a shortcoming to point to, it's been Hubbard's propensity to miss games. He's failed to play a full season since 2018 -- his rookie season - though he has played in at least 15 contests in the last three years.
