2025 Fantasy Outlook
Hendrickson looked to be due for regression in 2024 after logging a career-high 17.5 sacks in 2023 - a number that far outpaced his underlying metrics such as quarterback hits. However, he instead repeated his 17.5 sack total and upped his quarterback hits to 36 and total quarterback pressures to a career-best mark of 83 in 2024. Those performances, combined with the explosion of the edge rusher market, have set the scene for a dramatic offseason. Hendrickson is entering the final season of his current contract and has stated he will not play in 2025 without a new deal, while the Bengals have yet to meet his demands. There's still time for the sides to find a resolution, but this is a situation to monitor as training camp nears. Read Past Outlooks
Two huge plays
Hendrickson had a sack on the penultimate play of the game in Sunday's win over the Jaguars. He also had a big pressure on Jaguars' quarterback Trevor Lawrence in the first half that led to Lawrence's first interception in the Bengals' end zone.
ANALYSIS
Hendrickson doesn't have gaudy tackle or sack numbers, yet, but he's come up big in the second half in both of the Bengals' wins so far this season. The Bengals draw the Vikings on the road next week, which could be a big ask for the Bengals' defense and Hendrickson. That defense might be asked to do a lot in the ensuing weeks, given Joe Burrow's toe injury.

2021
Hendrickson had the best season of his career in 2023 by nearly any measure. That began with his ability to stay on the field, as he managed to play a full season for the first time since 2021. The result was a career-high 714 defensive snaps, 17.5 sacks and 43 total tackles. Hendrickson's calling card remains his ability as a pass rusher, and he's finished no worse than 11th in quarterback pressures in each of the last three years (per PFF). While he's unlikely to replicate his sack total from last season, his ability to get to the quarterback consistently illustrates his ability to disrupt offenses and rack up production. Hendrickson's limitations as a defender against the run will cut out some of his upside relative to the elite defensive lineman, but there will be a nearly guaranteed level of production for anyone rostering him.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Received interest from Green Bay
The Packers expressed interest in acquiring Hendrickson from the Bengals before ultimately trading for Micah Parsons on Aug. 28, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Bengals gave Hendrickson permission to seek a trade in April after the two sides couldn't reach an agreement on a contract extension. Rapoport relays that the Packers expressed great interest in acquiring the veteran pass rusher but were, at the time, hesitant on including Kenny Clark on any deal, though he was ultimately packaged along with two first-round picks for Parsons. Hendrickson and the Bengals agreed to a $14 million raise for the 2025 campaign, though that likely means that this season will be the last in Cincinnati for the 2017 third-rounder.
