Badie caught his lone target for zero yards in Sunday's 22-19 win over the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Badie operated as Denver's No. 3 running back in Week 11, playing just eight of the Broncos' 62 offensive snaps. The Missouri product failed to record a single rushing attempt in the contest. Meanwhile, RJ Harvey stepped into the No. 1 role with J.K. Dobbins (foot) on IR, playing 38 snaps and handling 14 total touches. Badie is likely to continue to play a pass-catching role for the Broncos as the season progresses, with Jaleel McLaughlin handling primary backup duties behind Harvey. McLaughlin had six touches on his eight snaps and scored the only touchdown for the Broncos against a formidable Chiefs defense. The 25-year-old Badie will be difficult to trust for consistent production each week, making him a risky bet for fantasy managers when the Broncos return from their Week 12 bye to square off against the Commanders in Week 13.

2022
Selected by the Ravens in the 2022 NFL Draft, Badie eventually signed with the Broncos to join their practice squad in December of his rookie campaign. Since then, the 24-year-old running back has spent much of his career as a member of Denver's practice squad, appearing in just one game in 2022 after joining the team. The Broncos signed Badie to a reserve/future contract in January, giving him the opportunity to compete for a roster spot during training camp. The 5-foot-8, 197-pounder faces an uphill battle, as Denver's currently have a crowded running back room featuring Javonte Williams, Samaje Perine, Jaleel McLaughlin and rookie Audric Estime.
Badie is an interesting long-term prospect, but his 2022 outlook is murky at best. While J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards are both coming off season-ending knee injuries, they are expected to be ready when toe meets leather in September. If either is not fully ready, Mike Davis was signed to be the insurance policy behind that dynamic duo. Looking ahead, Badie has a unique skill set. Though small at 5-8, he's densely built for that size at 197 pounds and he put down a 4.45 in the 40 at the combine to go with a 121-inch broad jump. He handled a workhorse volume in his senior year at Missouri with 268 carries for an SEC-leading 1,604 yards to go with 14 touchdowns. Badie is a seasoned pass-catcher, too, having caught 126 of 180 targets for 1,149 yards and 11 touchdowns in four seasons as a Tiger. Badie could be an interesting addition to Baltimore's backfield mix once it becomes less crowded.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Projected to snag roster spot
RBDenver Broncos
August 24, 2025
Nick Kosmider of The Athletic predicts that Badie will make Denver's 53-man roster.
ANALYSIS
Badie has made his case for a spot in a crowded Broncos backfield with a strong preseason in which he recorded 13 carries for 60 yards and eight catches for 56 yards across three games, showcasing ability as both a runner and pass catcher. His case is tenuous, but Kosmider believes the Broncos will keep four running backs, with Badie beating out Audric Estime for a spot alongside J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey and Jaleel McLaughlin.
