2024 Fantasy Outlook
Allen signed a lucrative deal to join the Broncos ahead of the 2023 season after spending the first four years of his career in Arizona. Both Allen's role and results stayed the same even with the change of scenery. He was used plenty as a pass rusher, but his primary task was to occupy offensive linemen in a 3-4 scheme. Given his effectiveness and the monetary commitment from the team, expect Allen to maintain a significant role along the Denver defensive line -- just don't count on much upside. Read Past Outlooks

November 22, 2024
Allen (heel) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
ANALYSIS
Allen had his full practice Thursday sandwiched between limited practices Wednesday and Friday, and he's drawn the questionable tag heading into Sunday's AFC West showdown. If Allen is unable to play, Jordan Jackson and Eyioma Uwazurike would see an uptick in snaps at defensive end alongside starter John Franklin-Myers. Through 11 regular-season games, Allen has logged 42 tackles (24 solo), including 5.0 sacks, and one pass defensed.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Allen found a new home with the Broncos this offseason, signing a three-year, $45.75 million deal. The 25-year-old defensive end spent the first four seasons of his career with the Cardinals, most recently recording career highs in both sacks (5.5) and passes defended (8), while accumulating 47 tackles (23 solo) in 2022. Allen joins a strong Denver defensive attack that should afford him many opportunities to build upon his totals from last season.
A third-round pick by the Cardinals in 2019, Allen has developed into perhaps the most reliable defensive lineman on the team through three campaigns, including 48 tackles, four sacks, three fumble recoveries (one for a touchdown) and one interception in 15 games last year. He's heading into his age-25 season, so assuming he recovers fully from January ankle surgery, Allen should take on the 41.1 defensive snaps per game he's averaged the past two years in 2022.

Building off Watt mentorship
DTDenver Broncos
May 27, 2023
During the Broncos' first week of OTAs, Allen told reporters that he is leaning on the lessons learned during his time playing with former defensive end J.J. Watt, Christian Gonzales of NFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Allen signed a three-year, $45.75 million contract with the Broncos in March after a career year with 5.5 sacks and 41 tackles in 13 games. He played in just eight games in his first two seasons with the Cardinals, but when Watt signed with Arizona in 2021, Allen's on-field production grew significantly, and he credited his development to the former three-time Defensive Player of the Year. Allen is facing higher expectations in his first season with the Broncos and will be relied on to shore up the defensive front heading into the 2023 season.
