Zion Johnson
24-Year-Old
Questionable
Injury Neck
Est. Return 5/1/2024
2023 Fantasy Outlook
Johnson was arguably the team's most consistent offensive lineman in his rookie season playing 99 percent of the offensive snaps while shoring up a right guard spot that had been problematic for years. The 23-year-old did incur seven penalties including four holding, but the hope is a switch to left guard, his more natural position, and being located inbetween stalwarts Rashawn Slater and Corey Linsley, will mask any sort of deficiencies along the left side of the offensive line. Not playing Week 18
Johnson (neck) is inactive Sunday against the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Johnson won't be able to overcome his doubtful designation and will sidelined for the Chargers' season finale. The second-year pro will likely be replaced by Jordan McFadden at left guard against Kansas City.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce is cleared from the final injury report and may get the 16 yards he needs to reach 1,000, but he's unlikely to play the entire game Week 18.
2022 Fantasy Outlook
Johnson was selected 17th overall in this year's NFL Draft by the Chargers after being named a first-team All-American for Boston College in 2021. Many people consider the 6-foot-3, 316-pound lineman the most talented guard from this draft class as he tested above the 90th percentile in jumps and shuttle at the NFL Combine and displayed his versatility throughout his collegiate days, transitioning between the guard and tackle positions. Expect Johnson to essentially have the starting right guard spot locked up entering Week 1.
