GOALIE
John Gibson, ANA vs. COL ($8,000): The Anaheim backstop was a wall at home in March with seven wins, a .942 save percentage and 1.74 GAA through eight starts. Colorado has been mediocre on the road in the second half with a 6-6-4 record and just 2.66 goals per 60 minutes, and the Avs will be without Erik Johnson (knee) and Semyon Varlamov (lower body).
CENTER
Evgeni Malkin, PIT vs. WAS ($7,400): The Capitals have been far from a defensive juggernaut this season with the second most high-danger scoring chances allowed per hour (13.09) and 13.16 since the All-Star break. Malkin owns an elite 4.01 points per hour this season, and he enters in strong form with six goals, 13 assists and 38 shots through 15 March games.
Ryan Getzlaf, ANA vs. COL ($6,400): The veteran center has missed the scoresheet in consecutive games despite slotting into a top offensive role. However, he had collected 15 points through his previous 10 games, which positions Getzlaf for a bounce-back showing. As noted, the Avalanche have struggled on the road since the All-Star break.
WING
Rickard Rakell, ANA vs. COL ($6,700): This salary isn't prohibitive enough, as the 24-year-old Swede has recorded 10 tallies, eight helpers and 52 shots through his past 15 games. The high shoot volume is especially encouraging, and Rakell has combined with linemates Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry for 4.16 goals and 16.4 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes.
J.T. Miller, TB vs. NAS ($6,000): The move to Tampa Bay has been nearly a perfect fit for Miller, as he's up to nine tallies, seven helpers, six power-play points and 37 shots through 15 games. Additionally, he's skating with Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov in all situations, and the trio has connected for a high-end 6.31 goals per hour.
Eeli Tolvanen, NAS at TB ($3,300): The rookie skated in a top-six role and received 1:17 of power-play time in his NHL debut on Saturday. After recording 21 goals and 17 assists through 51 games in the KHL this season, Tolvanen checks out as a solid value option. Tampa Bay has also allowed three goals or more in five of its past six games.
DEFENSE
Jeff Petry, MON vs. NJD ($4,300): Locked into a top role, Petry is proving to be a serviceable scorer, and he also moves the needle in the shot and blocked shot columns. The Devils are also playing their second game in consecutive nights, and Petry enters with a three-game point streak and bargain-bin salary.
Matt Niskanen, WAS vs. PIT ($4,000): A high-floor option with modest upside, Niskanen and the Caps draw the Penguins on the second leg of a back-to-back set. The veteran has recorded a respectable three goals, five points, 17 shots and 29 blocked shots while averaging 23:41 of ice time through his past 11 contests. This salary makes it easy to fit Niskanen into lineups, too.
