Sasson will compete for a depth role with the Canucks in 2025-26 after he came to terms on a one-year, $775,000 contract with the team in June. The Western Michigan University product provided three goals, four helpers, 31 shots on goal and a plus-1 rating while averaging 10:20 of ice time over 29 appearances last season. Sasson also had 13 markers and 32 points over 41 regular-season appearances with AHL Abbotsford. While the left-shot forward has proven capable of contributing offense in the minors, he’s unlikely to see anything more than bottom-six minutes with the big club this campaign.
