This was not an easy fight for Talbott despite the fact Cejudo is getting up there in age and was competing in the final bout of his storied career. He still managed to go out there and put forth a stellar performance dominating in all aspects of the fight. Blessed with an overwhelming edge in terms of speed and power, Talbott easily dominated the striking exchanges between the two. More surprising was the fact Payton landed three takedowns on a former Olympic gold medalist. It was a complete all-around effort.
