Highlight reel KO in Abu Dhabi
LightweightUFC
October 25, 2025
Salkilld defeated Nasrat Haqparast via KO (head kick) at 2:30 of Round 1 at UFC 321 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
That's quite a statement from Salkilld in a pick 'em fight. The highlight of the early minutes of this fight was Quillan failing on four straight takedown attempts. It was at that point he fired off a head kick which got through Haqparast's guard and blasted him on the side of the head. The latter immediately crumbled, out cold before he hit the mat. Although Salkilld entered with a 3-0 mark with the UFC (including his fight on Dana White's Contender Series), his wins were over Gauge Young, Anshul Jubli, and Yanal Ashmouz. This impressive win over Haqparast means considerably more.

LightweightUFC
October 16, 2025
Salkilld will fight Nasrat Haqparast at UFC 321 on Oct. 25, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Salkilld defeated Yanal Ashmouz in June to improve to 2-0 as a UFC fighter, but the former is now due to be tested against an opponent who has far more experience in the promotion and has won five consecutive bouts.
Remains perfect in UFC

Salkilld defeated Yanal Ashmouz via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC 316 on Saturday in Newark, New Jersey.
ANALYSIS
Widely viewed as a top prospect in the lightweight division, Salkilld won his UFC debut via 19-second knockout in February. He was right back at it here, looking terrific before fading in the final minutes. Recognizing a hole in Ashmouz's game, Salkilld fired off a whopping 23 takedown attempts, landing eight. He appeared to be cruising towards the finish line before gassing out in Round 3 and letting Ashmouz back into the fight. The all-around skills aren't in doubt, but Salkilld's cardio needs to improve if he wants to make a continued impact in arguably the deepest division in the sport.

Salkilld is scheduled to compete against fellow lightweight Yanal Ashmouz at UFC 316 in Newark on June 7, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Salkilld has an opportunity to go 2-0 in 2025 before the year reaches the end of its first half. He logged his first win with a 19-second win over Anshul Jabil at UFC 312 in Sydney.
Instant win in UFC debut

February 8, 2025
Salkilld defeated Anshul Jubli via TKO (punch) at 0:19 of Round 1 at UFC 312 on Saturday in Sydney, Australia.
ANALYSIS
Salkilld leaned on his wrestling this past September in order to earn a decision win on Dana White's Contender Series and a UFC contract in the process. Here, he simply unloaded one sweeping right hook which caught Jubli on the side of the head and put him away in an instant. Salkilld is going to face a stiffer test his next time out regardless of who he fights. That said, the start of his UFC career could not have gone any better. On top of the victory, he'll also walk away with a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.
To debut in home country
LightweightUFC
February 3, 2025
Salkilld will take on Anshul Jubli in a lightweight matchup at UFC 312 on Feb. 8, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Salkilld will make his official UFC debut, and the Australian-born fighter will be fortunate enough to do it in front of a friendly crowd at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. The UFC is also giving him a favorable matchup against Jubli, and the bookermakers agree, lining Salkilld as approximately a (-550) betting favorite entering fight week. He'll hold a sizable, six-inch reach advantage over Jubli, who is 1-1 with the UFC and coming off a stoppage loss to Mike Breeden last October.
