Starts new era with stoppage win
Miller defeated Adam Fugitt via TKO (strikes) at 4:59 of Round 1 at UFC 324 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Making his official UFC debut after a lopsided unanimous decision win on Dana White's Contender Series in August, Miller ballooned to upwards of a -600 favorite prior to the start of the fight and proved to be more than worthy of the price tag. He battered an overmatched Fugitt on the feet throughout the opening round, wearing him down with plenty of volume. The accumulation of damage finally resulted in referee Chris Tognoni stopped the fight with just a second to go in the frame. Miller won't be 26 years of age until June and is an obvious fighter to keep an eye on in the welterweight division moving forward.

UFC debut booked
Miller will fight Adam Fugitt at UFC 324 on Jan. 24, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Miller took down Jimmy Drago in August to improve to 6-0 as a professional fighter, earning himself a UFC contract in the process. His first test in the promotion will come in the form of Fugitt, who has fought just once in the past 12 months -- a loss to Islam Dulatov.

Earns contract despite decision
Miller defeated Jimmy Drago via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at Dana White's Contender Series on Tuesday. After the show, he was one of two fighters to be officially awarded a UFC contract.
ANALYSIS
On a night that ended with four decisions and largely disappointed UFC President Dana White, Miller was the lone decision winner to receive a contract. In a fight that was almost contested entirely on the feet, Miller got his striking going and dominated the numbers in each of the first two rounds, mixing in nice combinations and doing a bit of body work too. The two fought to nearly even terms in Round 3, but every time Drago connected, Miller was right there with a response. The 25-year-old is still relatively green with just six pro fights under his belt, and he'll now look to make his mark in the UFC's welterweight division.
