Liverpool had a second attempt at a transfer bid for Teixeira rejected by Shkhtar Donetsk, reports the Daily Mail.

ANALYSIS
Liverpool's second bid for the midfielder was £28 million, but still did not meet Donetsk's valuation of £38 million. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has also been vocal against the amount of money paid for some players in a reference to the club's pursuit of Teixeira. The midfielder has expressed his desire to join Liverpool, though.
