Augusto Batalla

Batalla joined Rayo Vallecano on loan from River Plate for the 2024/25 season, but his performances were so good that the Vallecas club signed him to a multi-year contract. He made 32 appearances in 2024/25 and kept eight clean sheets while making 95 saves. He was a reliable presence between the posts, but he's not a high-end option for most fantasy formats, as Rayo are a mid-table team and are always a danger to concede in any given game. Batalla could have some value when playing at home and against smaller teams, but he shouldn't be targeted as a top-notch goalkeeper. He's more in the second or third tier when it comes to goalkeepers.
