Zagadou will not be available for Saturday's finale against 1899 Hoffenheim with a foot injury, confirmed manager Sebastian Hoeneß. "Daxo Zagadou is no longer a problem with his head injury. However, he now has foot problems (painful swelling), so we have to assume that he will not be available for us on Saturday."
ANALYSIS
With Zagadou ruled out Saturday, Hiroki Ito and Waldemar Anton would be the expected pair to line up for the last match of the season. In his first year with Stuttgart, he's made 14 starts in 17 appearances, recording 79 clearances and 21 interceptions. As long as the team avoids relegation, the defender will return next season with three years left in his contract.
