Udogie's second season in the Premier League was a bit underwhelming. The left-back managed just a single assist and was hampered by injuries and poor form. He eventually rotated with youngster Djed Spence in the back half of the season, a full-back who can play on both the right and left flanks. Udogie should head into next season as the top-choice left-back, but it may not be guaranteed under Thomas Frank. If the consistent starts aren't there, his upside will likely be capped as the lesser attacking full-back on Tottenham with Pedro Porro on the right side.
Training, too soon to play
Udogie (knee) has been training but Saturday's match against Manchester City is too soon, according to manager Thomas Frank. "We want him to train tomorrow and have another good week next week. He looks in a good place, very positive about him."

Udogie should be ready in a week and definitely ready for minutes after the international break. The question will be what his role looks like once fully fit and competing with Pedro Porro and Djed Spence for starts. "I think it's three different cases. I think Dom is quite soon that he'll be available.
