Joao Gomes

Gomes has been a constant in the starting XI the last two seasons, most often playing as one of two midfielders and moving up in the formation if needed. He managed three goals and one assist last season from 35 shots and 23 chances created. Unless he plays in an attacking role more consistently, his attacking numbers are unlikely to change much. As a guaranteed starter, he at least has a defensive floor with some offensive upside when a good situation presents itself.
