Following back surgery the prior season, Kahlina started all 37 games for Charlotte in 2024, including the postseason. It will be hard for him to improve on his 2024 Goalkeeper of the Season campaign, though it's not impossible with the same back line returning for 2025 in addition to a full offseason for manager Dean Smith.
